DNA Bombs are not the only concern this Season, as Demolition has made its return with increased defusing possibilities! Additionally, a Cranked variation called Havoc, inspired by arena-shooters, and a Killstreak-focused Playlist modifier are being introduced before the explosive mid-season update, along with more Modes.

Game Mode: Demolition (Launch)

One of the most strategic game modes in Call of Duty has made its return! After its last appearance in Season 3 of Modern Warfare (2019), this round-based objective mode is reminiscent of Search & Destroy. Teams take turns attacking and defending two bomb sites, with respawns enabled for attacking players who always spawn with a bomb. Unlike S&D, defusing the bomb does not end the round, leading to intense tactical battles and chaos as teams fight for control of the bomb sites. Winning a round of Demolition as the attacking team involves destroying both bomb sites before the timer runs out. Taking out one site adds extra time to the clock, giving you the opportunity to focus on the second site. As the defending team, your goal is to protect one or both bomb sites until the timer expires. If a bomb is planted, the match timer stops, and you can either run out the clock or prioritize defusing the bomb to secure victory.

Game Mode: Hyper Cranked (Launch)

Hyper Cranked intensifies the competition by starting players off already Cranked, with the clock ticking down! Keep the kills coming, survive, and don't waste any time! Version 1: Hyper Cranked raises the stakes by starting you off in a match that is already in Cranked mode, with the countdown ticking away! Your task is to continuously chain kills, survive, and act quickly without hesitation.

Game Mode: Havoc (Mid-Season)

Havoc, a Core Multiplayer mode in Season 5 of Modern Warfare II (2022), offers an exhilarating gaming experience with dynamic gameplay modifiers. Inspired by classic arena-shooter gameplay, Havoc introduces chaos-inducing modifiers that constantly change the way you play.
The match begins with the Team Deathmatch ruleset, where the first team to reach 75 points emerges victorious. However, Killstreaks (except those awarded with a modifier) are disabled, adding a new level of challenge. Additionally, a diverse range of match-altering modifiers are introduced throughout the game.
During gameplay, you'll notice five circular icons beneath your map compass at the top of the screen. These icons represent the active modifiers. Every two and a half seconds, a new modifier is awarded, enhancing the gameplay experience. Furthermore, as either team reaches a score multiplier of 12 kills (12, 24, 36, and 48), another modifier is added, immediately impacting both teams. These modifiers are selected from a pool of options, ensuring that the gameplay remains unpredictable and exciting.

1. Ammunition Supplier: Automatic reloading upon enemy elimination.
2. Grounded Boots: Reduced gravity effect.
3. Altered View: Switch to third-person perspective.
4. Explosive Chain: Sticky Grenades deployed upon enemy defeat.
5. Energized: Activate Cranked upon successful kills.
6. Gear Refill: Refill equipment with each kill.
7. Constant Surveillance: Maintain Advanced UAV at all times.
8. Weapon Swapper: Receive a random weapon after each kill.
9. Heroic Impact: Cause an explosive impact upon landing from a height.
10. Fiery Archer: Exclusively use Crossbows with Molotov bolts.
11. Fortunate Trio: Obtain a random Killstreak after every third kill.
12. Precision Shot: Instantly eliminate enemies with headshots.
13. Quick Kill: Trigger a snapshot grenade (and ping pulse) upon enemy elimination.
14. Modifier Refresh (Only applicable to the fifth modifier): Completely refresh all active modifiers.

Game Mode: Headshots Only (Mid-Season)

Lock the target, fire, and aim for the skull. This team mode requires skilled players with impressive aim to play on a small grid of maps. Enhanced by the fact that only headshots count when eliminating other players, deal no damage, and your cranium-aiming is required for team score progression, Team Deathmatch With only one target to aim at, loadouts take on greater significance, and the number of weapons, perks, equipment, and killstreaks you can carry is unrestricted. Take note that thrown lethal weapons like knives and stars can only hurt the head, that grenades only work if they hit the head, and that melee weapons should probably be left at the Lobby.
